Piero Lissoni studied Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and graduated in 1985. In 1986 opens with Nicoletta Canesi the studio Lissoni Associati, in 1996 was born Graph. x for the development of graphics projects. The activity of the studio, where 70 people work today, includes projects of architecture, industrial design and graphics, from furnishings to accessories, from kitchens to bathrooms, from lighting to corporate identity, through advertising, catalogues and websites for hotels, showrooms, exhibition stands, private houses, shops and boats. The Studio Designs for Alessi, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Fantini, Flos/Antares, Fritz Hansen, Glas Italia, Kartell, Knoll International, Lema, Living Sofas, Lualdi, Matteograssi, Olivari, Pierantonio Bonacina, Poltrona Frau, Porro, Riva 1920, Sabattini, Tecno and Thonet. The architectural achievements Include the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam in the area of Museum Square (2012), in Jerusalem the Mamilla Hotel with 210 rooms and suites and the high-quality kosher cuisine Restaurant Scala (2009), in Venice the restoration and the interiors of the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal (2002-2004); In Tokyo the Mitsui Garden Hotel (2005). Piero Lissoni has also restored to Milan the historic National Theatre (2009), has completed the seat of Living Divani in Anzano del Parco (2007) and the Benetton Store of 8 floors in Istanbul (2009), has designed with the shipyard Mondo Marine the yacht Tribe 50m for Luciano Benetton (2007).
