The entrance is welcoming, with an open overview that proceeds inside, thanks to a lower level that takes the eye to the evening area of the space. Attractive and comfortable furnishings in the living area reflect the spirit of the house. An open but elegant kitchen is finished with Black Zimbabwe stone that complements cabinets closed with blackboard-effect doors to underline the emphatic design. A wooden piece of furniture at the entrance stands out on the steel flooring and recalls the material in some details. A Sarpi “Elistella” table with a metal frame and an elliptical glass surface is accompanied by DKR chairs in reinforced brushed steel. A black line runs under the windows in the shape of a storage unit that goes from the kitchen to the bedrooms. An iconic Black Edition Lounge Chair , an Autoreverse sofa and a Rialto bookcase mark out the relaxation area and introduce the corridor that leads to the nighttime area.
Restructuring work unearthed a portion of the original wall. This became part of the vocabulary of the materials that distinguish the corridor. On the opposite side of the passageway, built-in mahogany boiserie forms the back of the bedroom closets on the other side of the wall. A bathroom and two bedrooms are warmed by wooden flooring and reflect the clean lines that characterize the whole apartment.
